Factory Controller (Consumer Goods)

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies. Our respected client is seeking professional finance person with extensive experience in factory controller, preferably with at least 5-6 years of experiences with consumer goods/manufacturing company, for the job of Factory Controller, to be based in Cileungsi, West Java, Indonesia.
First line ownership for all factory costs which gets reported in statutory, management, and tax reporting at the factory level
Ensure all GL vs Sub GL reconciliations, particularly inventory, are done, variances, if any, analyzed and accounted for correctly, every month
Ensure that all production work orders are being processed on per shift basis
Analyze the variances generated for the closed work orders on weekly basis keep track of RM/PM wastages (usage variances) and BOM variances Post the WO variances in G/L
Ensure that Cycle counting processed is carried out diligently by the warehouse team with proper documentation available for the same future audits
Ensuring first level of validation check for all vendor invoices at the plant level to ensure adherence to the Authority policy of the company, local tax regulation, all internal controls through 3 way match
Disbursement of petty cash as per company policies/guidelines for expenses reimbursements
Representing the company at various local tax authorities for the purpose of document submissions/hearings
Take lead in all systems/process improvement initiatives (JDE/Non-JDE) in the factory
Support various internal/external audits at the plant level by providing relevant information/other support to the auditors
Actively involve with the factory manager and his team for raising Capital expenditure request (CER). Challenge any unreasonable/uncalled spend being requested. Ensure CER assumptions and financials are reasonable
Actively participate in various new initiatives being undertaken at plant level giving required support the factory team in all cost reduction and efficiency improvement programs
Lead the Annual Supply Plan/Quarterly Forecast at the factory level
Job Requirements
CPA with 5-6 years of experience in manufacturing set up, preferable FMCG
S2 Accounting (Post Graduation) with 10-12 years of total experience in finance with 4-5 years of experiences in a similar role
Cost Accounting Executive (joined as Management Trainee – MBA Finance (from a reputed international of specified Indonesian University)/ CPA) post providing the competencies in Cost Accounting Executive function for 4-5 years may also be considered
Strong leadership and inter personal Behavioural skills
Thorough management accounting knowledge
Positive temperament and willingness to learn
Multi-tasking skills and analytical thinking
Good excel and ERP skills (especially JDE)
Administrative skills
Thorough understanding of local regulations
Fluent in English both verbal and written
